how can i book dhaka, bangladesh to yangon, burma with biman airways?

have checked their site, but it doesn’t work. i can’t find a travel search engine that recognises biman airways and all other flights are very expensive. travel overland is unfortunately not an option between bangladesh and burma (myanmar).

I don’t think there is a direct flight by Biman (Bangladesh Airline) or any other Airlines from Dhaka or any cities of Bangladesh to Rangoon or any other cities in Burma.
In fact, there was a proposal in the past for having flight from Chittagong to Rangoon or Mandalay by Thailand’s Silk Airlines but that did not materialized since the Biman employees were not cooperating with that Thai company who also got management contract to run Chittagong Airport (Shah Amanat Int’l Airport).
Btw, there is indeed an option for travel overland from Teknaf-Chittagong to Burmese border through which the ICRC vehicles travel. This is not a regular route of check post, but one can travel by taking special permission from the Burmese embassy in Dhaka, though I am not very sure how it works.
