Can I acquire visas for all of the surrounding countries in Bangkok, or do I need to have them before I leave?

chefjrod asked:

I am traveling all of south east asia for 90 days and I know that some of the countries require visas. I have checked out visa services online and they seem to be really expensive, adding about 75 dollars to the cost of the consular fees. I also do not know exact dates i will be entering most of the countries. If I can get visas in bangkok then I wouldnt have to wory about dates and could avoid the fees. I have been told I can get a visa for vietnam in bangkok through the embassy. THe other countries I am interested in are Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar. I appreciate the help. Thanks.

Yes, you can apply for all of them in Bangkok. All countries you mentioned have their embassies in bangkok. If you do it by yourself you won’t have to pay extra, normally it takes 2-3 days (some premium will be charged if you need it within a day).

Bangkok is the SEA hub for tourists coming to visit asean countries. If you have no time, you can ask the agent to apply for you, they will charge you between 700 - 1000 bht (38bht/usd) depending on how urgent you need.
