| Journalist right out of college?

Hey, I’m going to be graduating college in a few years with a Political Science B.A. I’d like to eventually move into Government work, but for a few years I’d like to work as a journalist (print). I’d like to travel abroad and cover breaking news like the chaoses in Myanmar and the events going on in Zimbabwe, stories like that. Would it be hard to get a job like that with a Poli Sci degree? How should I go about it? Thanks
